Steve Martin

Salamanca is beautiful but avoid camping at Hotel Regio campsite. The manager believes ACSI members are too much trouble!

Fantastic city, a definite must see

Salamanca itself is fascinating and full of history and architecture. An evening meal in the plaza mayor with everything illuminated is very atmospheric. Don't forget to look for the carved stone medallion of the duke of Wellington - the only foreigner to have earned that distinction !

Susan Ashton

Fantastic, the region, the history. Nice people.
