Camp sites in Veszprém

The region of Veszprém is located on the northern shores of Lake Balaton, a region with plenty to experience and plenty to see. Take the old spa resort of Balatonfüred for example, nowadays a resort where many people take a carefree camping holiday by Lake Balaton. The old town, also called Veszprém is well worth a visit. Camping around Lake Balaton is popular for the lake itself which slopes gently from the shore making it suitable for children. Lake Balaton is more than 60 km long, the shoreline is of course much, much longer!

Tourism plays an important role around the extensive Lake Balaton and there is plenty of choice of restaurants, bars and other places of entertainment. It is especially good if you are on a camp site in Hungary during one of the many summer festivals! You will frequently come across the word “csárda” on your camping holiday at Lake Balaton, it means a bar or restaurant. Besides eating and drinking well (Hungarian wines are very good!) there is often dancing to traditional Hungarian music.

Petra

Mooie omgeving waar men prima fietsen kan.

Dorn Robert

Interessante Städte in der Nähe.
