Excellent area with wonderful coastline and pretty little towns.

We always enjoy this part of France the many references and memorials to both wars make history come alive in this area.

The adjacent village is within easy walking distance, with its bars and restaurants. It's within easy cycling distance of Mont St Michel, though you need to ignore the 'no entry' sign across the road - cyclists can go through. There is an area at the base of the Mont for locking up your bike.

Nice area but difficult to find cycling routes that don't have a lot of fast cars whizzing past you..
