Boating, fishing and lake swimming are available at the campsite. An easy 4-km ride into Leksand along a safe cycle path.The lakeside town of Leksand offers boat trips, a theme park (Sommarland) and entertainment for midsummer holidaymakers.
We cycled into Leksand but were disappointed to find the Tourist Office closed (Monday morning) and very few places open to eat. The season was over before the last week of August.
