The ancient old World Heritage town of Cáceres is a must to explore and the surrounding area is excellent with open and wild countryside. There are also lots of other interesting areas to visit in Extremadura including Malpartida de Plasencia

Very much and its a convenient distance from the north when travelling to the Mediterranean . Plascencia is a city worth visiting and good place to stock up shopping
