Really like this region. Very unspoilt and authentic.

Cadiz is connected by train to San Fernando - with modern trains . There is also parking near both the train and the bus station . You can also cycle there - and take boat or ferry crossings. It has a lot of architectural history and museum presence. There is a food market centrally, and many bars and restaurants .

Interesting caves for ancient homes; mountainous and arid inland with terraced wildernesses; lots of orange orchards; parts very flat. Loved Granada, the Alhambra and Albaycín. People friendly and helpful.

Cordoba itself seemed primarily geared up to take money from tourists therefore not for me.Unfriendly staff and poor quality but expensive food if you wanted to dine out. Hotels trying to overcharge for very small/cramped accomodation. Moved to another town not far away and found friendly liocals and great hospitality.
