Campsites on Lake Garda in Italy

Many of the campsites around Lake Garda are situated on the shores of Italy's largest lake, whose deep blue waters are surrounded by oleanders, lemon trees and cypresses. Climate

The lake's climate is characterised by cold winters during which snow is not uncommon, especially at higher altitudes. With the arrival of spring come longer periods of sunshine and warmer weather, while temperatures of up to 30 degrees are common in the summer months, especially from mid-May onwards. Rain is more common in the spring and autumn, although temperatures of over 15 degrees are possible.
