You will find wecamp Cabo de Gata in the south of Spain in the province of Almería at walking distance from a stunning bay. In the eponymous UNESCO nature reserve, you stay in a volcanic landscape with steep cliffs. The luxury campsite was completely renovated in 2022 and exudes pure comfort. The lovely swimming pool, restaurant and neat toilet and washing facilities make this a wonderful sun destination for families. A walk through the desert-like backdrop to the nearby village of Las Negras only takes 20 minutes.

A quietly located campsite surrounded by mountains, and directly by a small beach. With plenty of shade from the mats over the pitches.

lovely camp site, well maintained and the sanitary facilities are very reasonable. clean and tidy. location for the beach and hiking is excellent. cove isn’t really private but it is quiet. a few people partaking in nude bathing but nothing we’ve not seen before. pool is tidy, one is shut but two more still in use. only one minimal complaint. there a little disorganised. offered our plot to someone else before we had left. leave by 11, re-let the plot 10:45. would stay again. very peaceful.

A gem of a campsite with a gentle vibe. Tucked away in its own bay with crystal clear waters. We enjoyed a few weeks exploring & enjoying the quiet atmosphere. Staff were attentive, camp shop had the essential & all facilities met our expectations. We will be back.

Cracking spot virtually on a beach (good for snorkelling / paddle board) and a short walk from the interesting village of Las Negras with some interesting bars and restaurants. The site itself was flat and quite orderly but was quiet when we went there in June.
