The German Lüneburg Heath is a large nature reserve known for its vast heaths and woodlands. There is a lovely area of lakes on the southern side of Lüneburg Heath called the Meißendorf Lakes. Campingpark Hüttensee is in the wonderful setting of this lake landscape. There are four lakes on the campsite itself, including a swimming lake that is surrounded by a white sandy beach. Several gentle streams also run through this forested campsite. The campsite offers many recreational activities, also in terms of water sports. You can take many lovely walks and bike rides in the surrounding area.
