Camping Les Lanchettes is located in the heart of the high mountains of the Vanoise, a national park in the south-east of France. This mountain campsite is situated at the end of a valley in the Alps. A small river flows through the slightly sloping, terraced terrain. From the spacious touring pitches you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Which are extremely suitable for mountain hikers, while in winter especially winter sports enthusiasts will find a good base at the campsite.

High-altitude campsite for the real mountain hiker. A fast flowing river divides the site into two. The campsite is situated on a slope with level terraces. Beautiful view of the mountainous surroundings. Access to the Vanoise National Park is 1 km beyond the campsite. Renewed toilet facilities (2018). Adventurous ropes course. Rental of VTT with electrical support.

We have stayed here in the winter previously and now have stayed in the summer too. Myriam & Francois and Team work so hard to make everyone’s stay so good. Great fresh bread etc in the morning and great pizzas in the evening. Francois assisted us with rental of e-bikes and advised us of a route to see the Tour De France. We will be back again.

The camp site was clean and well managed, in a great location for mountain biking and hiking.
Having more of a shop for produce maybe a future thought as the nearest shop is some distance away.

Had a great two weeks staying at Les Lanchettes, weather from sitting in the sun after skiing, to digging our way out of the van after a heavy snow fall over night, soon the campsite was cleared with the arrival of a snow shovel. Friendly and dedicated staff. A+

As always staff friendly and helpful. Lanchettes is just a beautiful place.
The ground can be a bit water logged. So more hard standing would be nice.
