The four star campsite Les Nobis d’Anjou is ideally situated on the crossroad between the Anjou, Touraine en Poitour regions, only 15 km from the town of Saumur. You can enjoy a lovely holiday on a 3 ha campsite on the banks of the Thouet, at the foot of the castle of Montreuil-Bellay.

Located in the medieval Montreuil-Bellay, at the foot of the Castle, on the banks of the Thouet river. Many modern facilities: large plots, heated swimming pool, new sanitary facilities, restaurant, cosy bar and animation. Many hiking and cycling routes, but also the heritage of the Loire; everything for a pleasant stay in this beautiful region.

Quiet ( May) and well run. Excellent clean facilities. Can walk up to Montruiel Bellay and enjoy restaurants, the chateau and local walks.

Very friendly staff. Good sized pitches. Nice hot showers.
Identify on map where water taps and grey water waste drains are located. Have lights staying on longer at night in the showers before automatically turning off. Out of high season things didn’t always open at published times.

A great site just down the hill from a lovely little town and Chateaux. Loads to do for the family. One really big problem though, the only motorhome water filling station with a screw fix is the one used to clean cassettes! If you can\'t deal with that then one is forced to fill jugs etc.. from push taps. So make sure your water tank is full before coming. Have to be a bit careful when getting to the site as there is a restriction on the access road from one direction. We ended up going through the town to get to the other end of the road, but I think there is a bypass. Our usually very good sat nav didn\'t pick this up. Mind how you go.

We upgraded to a lovely Riverside Pitch (Acsi rate). Great facilities all round, bar, restaurant, entertainment, pool etc - all just fab. Cycled 15k to the wonderful Saumur along a very safe and easy route. Montreuil is simply beautiful and this site is perfectly located to enjoy it.
