Camping Barétous-Pyrénées is a small campsite in the southern French town of Aramits, at the foot of the Pyrenees. On a green camping ground you camp on delimited touring pitches, situated under trees and next to a river. Walkers and cyclists will be in their element: the friendly owners know the area like the back of their hand and organise excursions and cycling tours through the valley of Barétous and over the cols of the Pyrenees.

Very good site with relatively new owners who are friendly and extremely helpful. Decent facilities with a municipal area opposite for recycling and dumping grey and cassette water (there's also a cassette vidange on site). Electricity and fresh water at pitch - pitches are grassed and generously sized. Games room/lounge, tiny shop and good laundry facilities. Lovely little pool. Easy walk to village which has a good cafe/bistro/pizza place and an Intermarche and Pharmacy. Highly recommend.
