In the southern Vendée on the Atlantic Ocean, in the vicinity of Les Sables d’Olonne (40 km) and La Rochelle (60 km), you will find the lively seaside town of La Tranche-sur-Mer. Here you can look forward to a large number of restaurants and there are shops galore. There also is a daily market. It is here that you will find campsite La Grande Vallée, located between the trees and only 700 m away from the sea, with a lovely sandy beach.

Seeing the owner constantly working to keep the site clean - unlike many campsites The restaurant was excellent - food was great and we had the best Gin & Tonics we had in France in five months!
Supply of toilet paper & more/bigger hooks in toilets & showers.

Site was very well kept and toilets were extremely clean bar and food was excellent , pitch was very large and accommodated our motorhome nicely. Beach was 15 minutes away and a little shop 5 minutes from the park.
