Camping Campilô

The personnel is very friendly and helpful. They speak English. The bread service is great (delicious croissants). The pools are great and clean. So nice that there is also a warmed inside pool. The camping is quit silent. Most of the evenings there is entertainment at the bar, but this is far away. You can hear it, but it is okay.

Perhaps a bit less strict at the pool. For example, my 7 year old could not go of the slide by herself. Also toys (bucket and shovel) is not allowed at the beach pool. At the end of the day there is almost no hot water. In the morning the showers are very hot.

I would recommend this site, it is clean, lots of activities for the Children, The beach/pool area is a fantastic addition, staff are welcoming.

We came to the site in 2019, the new lagoon is good but overall we were disappointed that it was not as good as last time

Animation was too loud, no visiting food truck, no moules frites night, you can’t make a bbq by the lake, animation was repetitive, toilet cleaners noisy early in the morning which woke us up

We stayed for a week in August as a family of 3. Everything feels very new and clean. Maintenance was good. The pools and slides are amazing, just like the photos. The site is clean, washing machines were brilliant, loved that you pay by card! The staff were lovely, Food was tasty, delicious pizza. Order your bread for next day, it’s good! It’s very tranquill during the day. Lovely lake. ( sone mosquitoes, but that can’t be helped)

It was 35 degrees, wish we had booked air -con, cabin too warm, but I think this was unusual weather! The entertainment was good, but went on until 11.30,pm every night. DJ very loud on last night, when we wanted to sleep. It’s very strict about cleaning out shower traps and washing floors by 10am., or a hefty fines. It is normal to wash up, strip bed, empty fridge, and leave clean, but most places have cleaners to scrub floors and deep clean shower traps. I assume there are cleaners as the check in is not until 5pm. We had to walk about 6 times to the car, carrying bags, as no trollies.
