Camping Camboussel is not really a good option for families with children. Despite what the photos suggest, the swimming pool shown actually belongs to the municipality, not the camping itself. There is no pool on the premises. Additionally, there is no heating system, so the water is very cold and the rooms are quite small. If you don’t have experience with mountain environments, staying here could be risky. The village itself doesn’t offer much to see or do — it feels like a waste of both time and money. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for families or first-time visitors.
