Camping La Rivière Dorée is in the region of Île-de-France, on the outskirts of the Forest of Fontainebleau. This charming family campsite has camping pitches as well as accommodation. The campsite is an oasis of peace and quiet and only one hour's drive from the French capital of Paris. But you won't get bored here because there is plenty for active campers to do both at the campsite as well as in the direct vicinity.

Nice pitch, flat, friendly staff, toilets/showers etc were clean.
Hot shower. I had 3 showers, all of which were luke warm which was really disappointing and would put me off coming back or recommending this campsite to others.

We booked for 3 nights but stayed an extra night. Beautiful area to explore and fantastic campsite. Lovely owner who keeps the place in great shape, very hardworking. Definitely one to keep note of, we will return. 2 motorhomes and 2 dogs travelling together. Great value for money and huge private pitches

Absolute saviour for our travels on way back to Calais, beautiful site , very large pitches perfect. Lovely friendly staff and owners , definitely stay if in the area again.
