Only went to Salles,nice small town.Of course the Arcachon Basin short drive north .

Lots to see and do in the area, some of the roads are busy so cyclists beware

Excellent ofr cycling- brilliant cycle paths through the forest. Not a lot of historical interest, but a lovely place to spend a week.

A good location for Gironde and Dordogne . Only stopped over, but liked this area on previous visits.
