Bar area and pool. Member of staff professional.
Pitch and road was powdery sandy soil Impossible to keep clean. Campsite in general a bit tired and unkempt.

We have visited this site many times and it is a great site. The staff were helpful, particularly Megan who was so helpful to us.

Friendly welcome from the owners who were very helpful. The facilities are very clean & the pool looked great although we didn’t use it. The pitch is a a generous size with all facilities close by. The location of the site is within walking distance to the village that had a small port & enjoyable to walk around. We would definitely recommend this site & stay here again.

We liked the site, but a few gripes, we felt we were ignored, arrived just before 7 reception supposed to close at 7 but found an envelope on door for us. Fair enough but would have expected some to pop across to check everything was ok later, they were in the bar. Failing this one it’s during our 12 night to check everything was ok would have be courteous. Pool was always clean and open until 9 which was great, food in snack bar was lovely, friendly staff. Showers block on whole we’re very clean. Easy to cycle/ walking Ares.
Warning the site is sandwiched between the main road and road into Ares, it was very noisy at night if in a tent, our pitch 86 wasn’t great, it hadn’t been cleared of fallen dried leaves but worse was the plot behind is a private one we had a motorbike starting up and leaving for presumably work at 7 each morning. Another issue is security, I presumed security gates were closed at night, but no it was only a barrier so anyone could access the site which did make you feel vulnerable at night time toilet visits, gates were ther so not sure why this didn’t happen? Give proximity of road : town
