The location is very scenic close to a spectacular cliff face on one side and across the valley to distant peaks. We were made to feel welcome by the owners who lived on site. The toilet/washing blocks were nice and clean. It was easy to order bread for the next day and the bar shop stocked essential items. At our request, the owner suggested an excellent walk straight from the campsite up the river valley, then along the top rim of the cliffs before descending through woodland. He furnished us with a map indicating clearly the route.
