The child-friendly four star camping Am Emsdeich is spacious and in a beautiful location by the Freizeitssee. This is a natural, moderately-sized lake near Westoverledingen (4 km away) with a large sandy beach. They have constructed a few wooden platforms that project over the water, ideal for sunbathing. Also handy to tie up your boat. Canoeing and kayaking are favourite pastimes here, as are fishing and windsurfing.

The campsite is very good and the location of our pitch next to the lake was fantastic. Having a site map in English would have been useful. However we used Google Translate.
You sent an email before we arrived asking for us to pay the final payment. However we paid the full amount when we made the booking.
