Krk island was OK - went down to Baska just to see it - but it was too congested to get to the harbour . The island of Krk is not as attractive as Istria for us.

Checking the town Krk was nice...

I love going to Osor, with its swivelling bridge joining the two Islands of Cres and Losinj. Lots of history too: don't miss to pay a visit to the museum of the "Apoxiomen" in Mali Losing, an incredible bronze statue from the first century, a real piece of ancient Greek art.

Krk well worth a visit but stay at Punat. Baska beautiful but too commercial but a must to see. Our first trip to Croatia and the arrival at Rijeka was disappointing but the island of Krk exceeded expectations. We want to see more of the place and meet more of the people.
