Camp sites in Styria are worth journeying to in summer as well as winter! Styria is the traditional authentic Austrian province around the city of Graz, sandwiched between Salzburg, Carinthia and Burgenland, on the border of Slovenia in the south of Austria. Graz is in fact the only town in this region which for the most part is rural, with small quaint farming villages and picturesque towns such as Sankt Gallen or Sankt Johann am Tauern.

It is a popular wintersport area (particularly around the Kreischberg ski area), in the summer you can stay on a camp site by a lake where you can go swimming, sailing and fishing. Everything here is geared to a holiday in the countryside or in peaceful rural surroundings.
