If you are looking for a quiet campsite in a mountainous area, a trip to the north-eastern side of Lake Ossiach in Carinthia (Austria) is certainly recommended. Directly next to the lake you will find this small-scale campsite with a friendly atmosphere. Camping See-Areal Steindorf is located between several imposing mountain ranges. An ideal base for hiking enthusiasts, but also for mountain bikers and practitioners of other mountain sports. On the campsite you will find an excellent restaurant, luxurious sanitary facilities, a large grassy lawn and a swimming jetty, from where you can take a refreshing dip in the lake.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt auf diesem kleinen, aber feinen Campingplatz. Dazu trug vor allem die Herzlichkeit der Betreiber bei. Abgesehen von der Lage am See gibt es viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Radfahren und Ausflügen mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Die Gastätte am See ist auch zu empfehlen. Ein Highlight ist der Spaziergang durch das nahegelegene Bleistätter Moor.

We were there in high season so we didn\'t get the ACSI rate. However, the campsite was very nice and in a lovely location. The owners are extremely helpful and gave us lots of details about what to do in the area. The facilities are very well kept. It was a very enjoyable stay.
